Heading into August, the last month before summer and all it entails starts to fade, there are usually few things I’d rather do than go to concerts, laze outdoors in the sun, and go out with friends to enjoy the last month of spectacular weather. While I didn’t get to go to their recent concert in the city, The xx is without a doubt one of my favorite summer artists because of how easy it is to enjoy their lazy, soothing music while lying out in the sun. “Chained” is much what you would expect from The xx, which means if you’re already a fan and don’t have it, here’s another one for your library, and if you haven’t heard of The xx, this song is a good representation of their sound and talent. Enjoy “Chained”, and get excited for the release of their new album Coexist on September 11.
